Obey Me! Anime Special: Devildom Family Trip!

Released in 2021, the Devildom Family Trip! special serves as an extension of the popular Obey Me! mobile otome simulation game developed by NTT Solmare. It was produced by Colored Pencil Animation Japan to provide fans with a narrative expansion outside of the game's core interactive visual novel format. The special focuses on character-driven comedy, placing the supernatural brothers of the Devildom in a relatable, slice-of-life setting to deepen player engagement with the established cast.

The visual design and character direction maintain the aesthetic established by the mobile game’s character designs, emphasizing the distinctive personalities and supernatural traits of the seven brothers. As a niche production tailored specifically for the game’s existing community, the special was received primarily as a celebratory gift to the player base. It leans heavily into the established character tropes of the series, aiming to provide a lighthearted tone that contrasts with the more plot-heavy narrative arcs of the main game.
