Ojamajo Doremi Na-i-sho

Ojamajo Doremi Na-i-sho was released in 2004 as a thirteen-episode original video animation series, serving as a nostalgic coda to the long-running magical girl franchise. Conceived by Toei Animation to satisfy fan demand following the conclusion of the television run, the series consists of self-contained stories that take place between the third and fourth seasons of the original show. The production allowed the creative team, including director Takuya Igarashi and character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi, to explore more intimate, character-driven narratives that did not fit the serialized format of the main television arcs.

The design philosophy behind Na-i-sho focused on refined character expressions and a slightly more mature aesthetic compared to earlier seasons.
