Where it came from
This one-off OVA was produced by the advertising giant Dentsu in 2012, serving as a specialized promotional medium rather than a standard commercial release. Created during a period when major agencies were increasingly experimenting with high-fidelity animation to showcase brand narratives, this piece was designed to function as a visual proof-of-concept for internal marketing strategies and potential collaborative media projects.
The production sought to balance the clean, minimalist aesthetic favored by Dentsu’s creative teams with the fluid motion design characteristic of contemporary Japanese animation studios. By focusing on a highly compressed narrative structure, the animation was intended to demonstrate technical proficiency in character movement and atmospheric lighting, ultimately receiving attention primarily within design and advertising circles rather than the wider consumer anime market.
