Oniku Daisuki! Zeushi-kun (2-ki)

Oniku Daisuki! Zeushi-kun (2-ki) was produced in 2014 by the Japanese studio DLE Inc. as a direct sequel to the original flash-animated short series. The project was commissioned by the Japan Meat Association to serve as an unconventional promotional tool, designed to encourage the consumption of domestic meat among younger generations through absurd humor and catchy musical segments.

The series was directed by FROGMAN, the creative mind behind Eagle Talon, who utilized his signature Flash animation style to create a surreal, meta-commentary experience. The character design focuses on Zeushi-kun, a prince from the Meat Kingdom, whose mission is to educate viewers on the virtues of Japanese-produced beef. While the show was received as a niche internet curiosity, it garnered attention for its unique ability to blend high-energy advertising with offbeat, self-aware comedy that pushed the boundaries of traditional corporate marketing.
