Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: Flying Island: The Sky Adventure

Released as a feature film expansion of the long-running Chinese animated franchise Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, Flying Island: The Sky Adventure continued the series' tradition of blending slapstick humor with high-concept animated storytelling. Produced by Creative Power Entertaining, the project aimed to capitalize on the immense popularity of the original television series by introducing expansive, imaginative settings beyond the familiar Green Green Grassland, reflecting the studio's desire to broaden the scope of their character-driven narratives.

The film was crafted to maintain the visual continuity established by the long-running series while experimenting with more complex environmental designs to match the 'sky adventure' theme. The design team focused on maintaining the iconic, minimalist character models that have defined the franchise since its inception, ensuring the transition to a theatrical scale remained accessible to the core younger audience. Upon its release, it received a predictable but warm reception from families, securing its place as a staple of the franchise's cinematic output.
