Based on the erotic game by Syoku.
During a party at a luxury resort hotel on an isolated island in the middle of the ocean, screams suddenly erupted. What appeared before their eyes were monsters parasitized by tentacles. Confronted by these creatures, the humans took action, some hid themselves, others fought, and repeated actions to escape from the threat. But is there any hope for them?

Where it came from
Rakuen Shinshoku: Island of the Dead was produced by Studio Show-Ten in 2023 as an original video animation. It emerged during a period of renewed interest in independent and niche horror-themed anime, serving as a project that prioritized atmospheric tension and a distinct visual identity over traditional serialized storytelling methods.
The aesthetic direction of the work focused on a gritty, survivalist tone, utilizing a muted color palette to emphasize the isolation and psychological decay of its characters. While it was developed for a targeted audience interested in the darker, more experimental fringes of contemporary animation, the production was noted for its uncompromising stylistic choices, which favored environmental storytelling and character-driven dread.
