S-Rank Party Kara Kaikosareta [Jugushi]

S-Rank Party Kara Kaikosareta 'Jugushi', ha Yuusha to Party wo Kumi (The S-Rank Party Dismissed the 'Beast Tamer', so He Joins the Hero's Party) originated as a light novel series written by Koshian and illustrated by Kakao Lanthanum. The story follows Rein, a beast tamer who is expelled from his party for lacking combat prowess, only to discover that his unique ability to forge contracts with powerful species makes him an indispensable asset to others. The narrative taps into the popular fantasy subgenre of the 'dismissal trope,' exploring themes of individual worth and professional competence within the structure of serialized adventure fiction.

The television anime adaptation, produced by EMT Squared, debuted to translate the series' light-hearted character dynamics and magical world-building into an animated format. The design language emphasizes the contrast between the rigid, hierarchical nature of traditional hero parties and the more inclusive, symbiotic relationships formed by beast tamers. Upon release, the series was received as a standard addition to the modern fantasy landscape, appealing to viewers who enjoy slow-paced progression and the exploration of unconventional power dynamics in secondary worlds.
