San Ti

San Ti is a 3D animated series produced by YHKT Entertainment, serving as an adaptation of the first volume of Liu Cixin's acclaimed science fiction trilogy, Remembrance of Earth's Past. Released as an ONA (Original Net Animation) in China, the project sought to translate the dense, high-concept narrative of the novel into a visually ambitious medium. The production was marked by its reliance on sophisticated computer-generated imagery to capture the vast, existential scale inherent in the source material's exploration of first contact.

The reception of the adaptation was varied among audiences and critics. While the production was noted for its technical effort in rendering complex interstellar concepts, it also faced substantial scrutiny regarding its pacing and deviations from the original text's character beats. As an early entry in the high-profile attempt to bring Chinese science fiction to a global streaming audience, the series occupies a notable position in the evolving landscape of international animation production.
