There's a story that must be told - hidden beneath the beautiful blue waves of this ocean city. Kyoya, a teacher at the Underocean school, lost his memory in an unfortunate accident that took place 3 years earlier and since then has been taken of by a beautiful young girl named Miyu.
It's natural that Miyu would become the center of all his wildest fantasies, but Yumi has a suspicious feeling that there may be more to Kyoya than he lets on.

Where it came from
Released in 2001 by the studio Green Bunny, SeeIn AO emerged during a transitional period for the OVA (Original Video Animation) market. As a standalone title, it reflected the studio's focus on experimental animation techniques and narrative brevity, characteristics common to independent Japanese animation productions of the early 2000s that prioritized stylized aesthetics over the expansive episodic structures of televised anime.
The production sought to blend traditional cel-style visual sensibilities with early digital composition methods. While the creative team aimed for a distinct atmospheric tone, the title arrived at a time of significant market saturation for niche OVA releases. It is remembered today primarily as a representative artifact of Green Bunny's specific approach to genre storytelling during that era, valued by collectors for its role in the broader landscape of boutique animation history.
