Tai Yi Xian Mo Lu: Ling Fei Ji 3

Tai Yi Xian Mo Lu: Ling Fei Ji 3 is a prominent installment in the long-running Chinese 3D animated fantasy franchise produced by Dancing CG Studio. First released in the mid-2010s, this series was part of a significant wave of domestically produced high-fidelity CGI animation intended to capture the burgeoning market for xianxia—a genre deeply rooted in Chinese mythology and martial arts. The studio aimed to push the technical boundaries of domestic motion capture and character modeling, seeking a visual aesthetic that balanced hyper-realism with the traditional, flowing elegance of wuxia storytelling.

The series centers on intricate world-building and complex political intrigue, characterized by a distinct visual language designed by the creative team at Dancing CG. The production team utilized advanced rendering techniques to emphasize the detailed costumes and supernatural combat sequences that define the genre. Upon release, the series received attention for its ambition in long-form serialized CGI storytelling, marking a turning point for the studio as they moved toward establishing a cohesive, expansive narrative universe that continues to influence contemporary Chinese web-based animation.
