Tenjho Tenge: The Ultimate Fight

Tenjho Tenge: The Ultimate Fight is a two-episode original video animation released in 2005 by the acclaimed studio Madhouse. It serves as a direct follow-up and expansion to the 2004 television anime series, both of which are based on the long-running manga by Oh! Great. The production was conceived to bridge narrative gaps and provide an animated showcase for the series' complex martial arts choreography, which defines the Juken Club’s struggle against the Enforcement Group at Toudou Academy.

The animation direction maintains the high-octane aesthetic established by Madhouse during the mid-2000s, focusing on fluid combat sequences and the stylized character designs emblematic of the source material. While the television series was noted for its intense pacing, these OVAs allowed the creative team to lean further into the darker, more visceral aspects of the manga's story. Upon release, it was received as a definitive companion piece for fans seeking a more concentrated dose of the series' signature blend of supernatural action and character-driven drama.
