The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2 Part 2

The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2 Part 2, released in 2023, represents the continuation of the adaptation of Satoshi Wagahara's light novel series. This installment marked a significant production shift as Studio 3Hz took over animation duties from White Fox, who had helmed the first season and the initial part of the second. The transition was initiated to accommodate the series' ongoing narrative trajectory, which follows the comedic and fantasy-driven life of Satan in modern-day Tokyo.

The design and artistic direction under Studio 3Hz aimed to maintain continuity with the series' established aesthetic while introducing updated character designs that reflected the progression of the light novel source material. The production team focused on balancing the show's signature supernatural action sequences with its lighthearted, mundane domestic comedy. Upon release, the season was received by fans as a dedicated effort to finalize the arcs established in the middle of the second season, though it drew attention for the noticeable shift in visual style compared to the original 2013 adaptation.
