The Moment You Fall in Love

The Moment You Fall in Love, released in 2016, is the second feature film in the HoneyWorks-inspired Confess Your Love Committee series by Qualia Animation. It serves as a companion piece to the earlier I've Always Liked You, focusing on the perspective of the younger siblings and the complex romantic entanglements occurring within the high school setting. The film was developed to expand upon the narrative universe established by the popular Vocaloid music project, aiming to capture the same emotional sincerity and youthful turbulence that resonated with fans of the original song series.

The character designs and visual aesthetic were crafted to align with the distinct, vibrant illustration style associated with the HoneyWorks collective. By prioritizing expressive character interactions and a soundtrack integral to the plot, the animation team sought to translate the lyrical storytelling of the source material into a cohesive cinematic experience. Upon its release, the film was received as a heartfelt continuation of the franchise, praised by the series' core audience for its faithfulness to the established tone and its ability to provide deeper character context to the overarching romantic narrative.
