The television anime adaptation, produced by studio OLM and broadcast by Mainichi Broadcasting System in 2023, maintains the light novel's blend of tragic fate and redemption. The character designs were adapted for animation by Kono Hitomi, who aimed to preserve the soft, elegant aesthetic established by Suzunosuke’s original illustrations.
