Where it came from
Released in 2004, 'There She Is!! another step' is the second installment in the influential Flash-animated series created by the South Korean studio SamBakZa. Following the viral success of the first episode, this entry continues the story of a cat and a rabbit navigating a prejudiced society that forbids interspecies romance, utilizing a distinctive, expressive art style that relies on vibrant colors and emotive character silhouettes.
The series was directed and animated by the artist known as Amalloc, who sought to blend whimsical aesthetics with social commentary regarding societal norms and unconditional acceptance. Upon its release on the internet, the animation gained significant traction in the mid-2000s for its fluid motion and catchy original soundtrack, ultimately becoming a foundational piece of early web animation history that helped define the potential of Flash as a medium for narrative storytelling.
