Tian Jin Xiangyao Lu

Tian Jin Xiangyao Lu, also known as The Record of Strange Things, is a Chinese original net animation (ONA) produced by the streaming platform Youku. Released in the early 2020s, the series fits into the burgeoning market for high-quality domestic 3D animation, focusing on fantasy narratives that draw heavily from traditional Chinese folklore and mythological motifs to appeal to a growing youth demographic interested in historical aesthetics.

The animation reflects the industry's shift toward sophisticated character modeling and atmospheric world-building intended to compete with international standards. While the specific design team credits are often integrated into the broader studio pipeline of Youku's animation department, the series is noted for its attempt to balance action-oriented sequences with the ethereal, painterly aesthetic common to the xianxia genre, receiving a focused reception among fans of contemporary Chinese web-literature adaptations.
