Tian Yi Que

Tian Yi Que, also known as The Heaven's Net, is a notable ONA produced by the Chinese digital platform Bilibili. It emerged during a period of rapid expansion for the platform's original animation wing, which sought to cultivate high-quality domestic 3D animation to appeal to a growing demographic of viewers interested in traditional Chinese aesthetics and fantasy storytelling. The series is grounded in the broader trend of donghua—Chinese animation—that leverages advanced motion capture and CGI to translate complex narratives from web literature into visual media.

The creative vision behind the production emphasizes intricate character modeling and world-building intended to capture the grandeur of the wuxia and xianxia genres. By focusing on atmospheric lighting and detailed costume design, the studio aimed to elevate the visual standard for platform-exclusive series. Reception has been largely defined by its technical achievements in animation fluidity, positioning the title as a representative entry in Bilibili's push to solidify its influence in the competitive East Asian streaming market.
