Tiantian Chengzhang Ji 2

Tiantian Chengzhang Ji, or 'Happy Growth Record,' is a Chinese original net animation series produced by Shangshui Original. It was developed to serve as a lighthearted, educational, and observational look at childhood development, reflecting a broader trend in Chinese media during the 2010s to produce domestic content focused on family values and early education. The production utilizes a simplistic, accessible aesthetic common among regional educational animations intended for broadcast on children’s television networks and online platforms.

The design of the series prioritizes clear, approachable character archetypes and relatable domestic settings to ensure the lessons remain the focal point. By emphasizing everyday scenarios, the animators aimed to bridge the gap between entertainment and pedagogy for a young demographic. While the series did not reach international mainstream fame, it remains a notable example of the push for locally produced, value-driven animation within the Chinese digital landscape.
