Trinity Seven: Eternal Library & Alchemic Girl

Trinity Seven: Eternal Library & Alchemic Girl was released in 2017 as the first feature-length film adaptation of Kenji Saito and Akinari Nao's fantasy manga series. Produced by Seven Arcs Pictures and distributed by Avex Pictures, the film was conceived as a direct continuation of the 2014 television anime series, aiming to expand the narrative scope of the Royal Biblia Academy setting. It captures the series' established blend of harem tropes, magical combat, and high-stakes supernatural mystery, focusing on the introduction of a new, mysterious girl who disrupts the protagonist Arata Kasuga's life.

The film's visual direction maintains the aesthetic established by the television series, leaning into character designs characterized by intricate magical academy uniforms and stylized battle effects. Directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori with screenplay contributions from Kenji Saito, the production sought to satisfy the existing fanbase by maintaining the tone of the light novels while adapting the 'Eternal Library' story arc. Upon its release, it was received primarily as a quintessential entry for fans of the source material, providing a cinematic expansion that focuses on the character development of the core Trinity Seven group.
