Tropical-Rouge! Precure Petit Tobikome! Collabo♡Dance Party!

Tropical-Rouge! Precure Petit Tobikome! Collabo♡Dance Party! was released in 2021 as a short film tied to the theatrical release of the Tropical-Rouge! Precure series. Produced by Toei Animation, the project was designed to serve as a celebratory bridge between the current cast of the 2021 series and the legacy characters of the long-running Precure franchise. Its release aimed to maintain the high energy and tropical theme of the ongoing series while providing a lighthearted musical experience for younger audiences.

The film leans heavily into the signature aesthetic of the Precure brand, utilizing vibrant animation and character designs intended to emphasize the 'tropical' motif of the protagonists. It is illustrative of Toei's approach to the franchise, where short-form, dance-centric features are frequently utilized to showcase character interactions that might not fit into the standard narrative episodes. Upon release, it was received as a standard supplemental entry within the Precure cinematic catalog, praised primarily by the dedicated fanbase for its upbeat choreography and the opportunity to see various generations of Precure characters share the screen.
