"Turkey" is a bowling term for scoring three consecutive strikes.
Mai, a second-year student and captain of the Ikkokukan High School Bowling Club, is a genius who can't seem to win a match. Whenever she scores a Turkey, she mysteriously follows it up with an unyielding split—the Snake Eyes.
One day, Rina, the club’s only first-year member, confronts her "You’re doing it on purpose, aren’t you?"
"You’re running away from winning. But I want to win. If you have no intention of winning, I’ll quit."

Where it came from
Released by Bakken Record in 2025, Turkey! Time to Strike emerged as a bold entry into the contemporary television landscape, designed to capitalize on a growing interest in high-concept, satirical animated programming. The series was developed as a commentary on absurdism in modern media, aiming to blend slapstick humor with a critique of current digital-age tropes.
The visual identity and narrative direction of the series were crafted to stand out in a saturated streaming market, emphasizing a distinct, minimalist art style that contrasts with its frenetic plot points. While the show is a recent arrival, its design philosophy reflects a conscious effort to evoke nostalgia for mid-2010s internet subcultures, leading to a polarizing but notable reception among early critics and genre enthusiasts.
