Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi Mini Anime

The mini anime adaptation of Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi, or My Tiny Senpai, was produced in 2023 by the studio Bit grooove promotion. It serves as a short-form companion piece to the primary television series, utilizing a chibi-style aesthetic to lean into the lighthearted, comedic elements of the source material. These shorts were developed to extend the online engagement of the franchise, focusing on the whimsical office dynamics between the protagonist, Shinozaki, and his diminutive supervisor, Shiori Katase.

The visual direction, led by the creative team at Bit grooove, emphasizes simplified character designs to contrast with the more detailed animation of the main series. The project reflects a growing trend in the anime industry to produce 'mini' or 'short' episodes as social media content to maintain viewer interest between broadcast weeks. This approach allowed the production to highlight the manga’s original gag-focused humor, finding an appreciative audience among fans who enjoy low-stakes, slice-of-life office rom-coms.
