Where it came from
Viva Happy was released in 2013 as a vocaloid track composed and produced by Mitchie M, featuring the voice bank of Hatsune Miku. The song was created to serve as a high-energy, pop-infused centerpiece for the rhythm game 'Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd,' where it became a fan favorite for its bright, optimistic tone and intricate production style.
The character design for the music video was illustrated by Akiakane, who utilized a vivid, kinetic aesthetic to mirror the track's rapid tempo. The song was well-received by the vocaloid community for Mitchie M's signature 'human-like' tuning techniques, which pushed the boundaries of how synthetic vocals could mimic the nuances and breathiness of a professional pop singer.
