When elephants are about to die, they will leave their herd and die alone. When a person knows that he is about to die, what will he choose? It's lung cancer, and it has already metastasized. There are probably 6 months left. It's a story about a man's last few steps in his life. It's probably quite different from the elephants.

Where it came from
Walking My Life was released as an original video animation (OVA) project, representing a niche but earnest entry in the landscape of late 20th-century independent animation. Produced during a period when the OVA format allowed creators to bypass the constraints of television scheduling, the work emerged as a character-driven study intended to explore personal reflection and the nuances of daily existence.
The animation reflects the prevailing aesthetic sensibilities of its production era, prioritizing fluid movement and understated color palettes to match its contemplative tone. While the production team is often credited for its minimalist approach to storytelling, the piece was received primarily within enthusiast circles, garnering attention for its departure from the more action-oriented titles that dominated the home video market at the time.
