Where it came from
Watashitachi, Luck Logic-bu! is a series of short-form original net animation (ONA) episodes produced by Doga Kobo and released in 2016. The series serves as a promotional companion piece to the Luck & Logic trading card game and television anime franchise developed by Bushiroad. These shorts were designed to introduce the game's mechanics and characters in a comedic, lighthearted format, focusing on a group of students participating in a logic-themed club.
The production leans into the signature aesthetic of Doga Kobo, known for their expressive character designs and comedic timing in the slice-of-life genre. By utilizing a chibi-inspired art style, the series aimed to soften the complex rules of the card game for a broader audience, fostering engagement with the overarching multimedia project. While the series functioned primarily as marketing material, it is recognized for its contribution to the expanded universe of the Luck & Logic franchise.
