Welcome to the JAPARI PARK

Welcome to the Japari Park, an original net animation released in 2018, served as a celebratory short linked to the popular Kemono Friends franchise. The project was conceived as a lighthearted expansion of the universe, leaning into the franchise's core themes of animal anthropomorphism and park management. It arrived during the height of the series' cultural visibility, aiming to provide fans with a whimsical, bite-sized narrative that reinforced the whimsical spirit of the Japari Park setting.

The animation features character designs and art styles consistent with the broader franchise aesthetic, which emphasizes bright, expressive visuals and simplified character models to maintain a friendly, accessible tone. By utilizing the existing character archetypes developed for the mobile game and subsequent anime adaptations, the production team sought to maintain consistency for the audience. Critics and fans generally received the piece as a pleasant, if brief, diversion that successfully captured the gentle, adventurous tone established by the franchise’s earlier entries.
