The third of four animated CLAMP music videos. Others being Clover, CLAMP in Wonderland. This one is based on the manga "Wish".
"Wish" is about 28-year-old Shuichiro Kudo, a doctor who stumbles across Kohaku, one of God's angels. When he inadvertantly saves her life from one of the devil's servants, Kohaku decides to grant him a wish to repay him for his kindness. However, upon discovering that Shuichiro has no wish, Kohaku devotes herself to him, vowing to serve him until he has a wish that she can grant. However, both discover that there are some wishes that can't be granted by oneself.

Where it came from
Wish was produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released in 2023 to coincide with the company's centennial celebration. The film was conceived as a narrative tribute to Disney's long history of musical fairy tales, explicitly designed to weave together references to classic themes and iconography from the studio's extensive archive of animated features.
The film's visual style represents an experimental fusion of traditional 2D hand-drawn aesthetics and modern 3D computer animation, a technique developed by the studio to evoke the look of classic storybook watercolor illustrations. Directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, the production sought to honor the foundational 'wish-upon-a-star' motif, though it ultimately received a mixed critical reception regarding its departure from the studio's more established storytelling formulas.
