Xing Jie Shouhu

Xing Jie Shouhu, or Star Guardian, was produced by the Chinese streaming platform iQIYI as part of their expanding portfolio of original animated content. Released during a period when the platform sought to bolster its domestic animation output to compete with traditional broadcast television, the series was designed to showcase high-quality digital animation techniques that leverage vibrant color palettes and kinetic action sequences common in the modern Chinese animation industry.

The stylistic direction of the series reflects a blend of contemporary fantasy motifs and traditional narrative structures favored by local streaming demographics. While specific details regarding individual lead animators are not widely publicized, the production follows the standard iQIYI studio pipeline, which emphasizes polished, glossy aesthetics meant to appeal to a younger, digitally native audience accustomed to the high production standards of global streaming platforms.
