Yamitsuki Pheromone The Animation

Yamitsuki Pheromone is a two-episode original net animation produced by Pink Pineapple, a studio recognized as a prominent entity within the adult anime industry. Released in 2021, the title follows the studio's established business model of adapting erotic manga series into short-form visual narratives. It emerged during a period when the studio was heavily focused on maintaining its presence in the niche digital distribution market, catering to a specific audience of adult animation enthusiasts.

The production relies on the aesthetic conventions typical of mid-to-late 2010s adult animation, emphasizing character-driven scenarios and standardized animation techniques characteristic of Pink Pineapple's library. While the creative staff behind such titles is frequently credited under pseudonyms, the work is representative of the studio's broader output, which aims to provide concise, atmospheric storytelling. It was received primarily within its intended domestic and international subculture as a straightforward genre entry.
