Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 4

Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 4 serves as the fourth season of the anime adaptation based on the regional manga series by Masaki Ando. Produced by Creators in Pack and Saetta, the series continues its focus on the distinct cultural idiosyncrasies of Nagoya, Japan, through the eyes of transfer student Kaito Jin and his interactions with the local high schooler Monaka Yatogame. The production maintains the show's signature short-form format, intended to provide bite-sized comedic observations on local dialect, food, and social customs.

The visual direction and character designs were crafted to mirror the aesthetic established in the original manga, emphasizing the humorous expressions and regional archetypes that define the series. Since its inception, the franchise has been embraced as a tool for regional promotion in the Aichi Prefecture, with the fourth season further cementing its role in highlighting Nagoya's unique urban identity. It received a modest but dedicated reception from fans of slice-of-life comedy who appreciate its specific focus on Japanese localism.
