Yobai Suru Shichinin no Harame

Yobai Suru Shichinin no Harame is an adult-oriented animated work released in 2014 by the studio Mary Jane. The production emerged from the niche market of independent Japanese adult animation, a segment of the industry often characterized by direct-to-video or digital releases that cater to specific subgenres. As an OVA, it was developed to be consumed as a standalone narrative experience rather than part of a serialized television broadcast, allowing the studio to focus its resources on its particular stylistic output.

The visual design and animation direction for this title reflect the typical aesthetic conventions employed by Mary Jane during this period. The project was conceived within the context of domestic distribution, aimed at a dedicated audience seeking specific tropes and artistic themes common to the studio’s catalog. While the work received little coverage in mainstream critical circles, it remains a documented entry within the studio's broader body of work from the mid-2010s.
