Dark-backed Imperial-Pigeon

The Dark-backed Imperial-Pigeon, Ducula lacernulata, was formally described by Dutch zoologist Coenraad Jacob Temminck in 1822. As an inhabitant of the montane forests across Java, Bali, and Lombok, the species reflects the complex biodiversity of the Sundaic region.
