Golden-sided Euphonia

The golden-sided euphonia, scientifically classified as Euphonia cayennensis, is a member of the Fringillidae family native to the Atlantic forest regions of South America. It was formally described by naturalists in the 18th century as part of the broader effort to document the diverse avian species inhabiting the tropical ecosystems of Brazil, French Guiana, and Suriname.
