Gray-breasted Prinia

The Gray-breasted Prinia, scientifically known as Prinia hodgsonii, is a member of the Cisticolidae family, a group of small passerine birds native to the warmer regions of the Old World. First described by the English naturalist Brian Houghton Hodgson in the mid-19th century, this species evolved to thrive in the dense undergrowth and scrubby landscapes of South and Southeast Asia.
