Gray-headed Kingfisher

The Gray-headed Kingfisher is a medium-sized tree kingfisher native to a broad range across sub-Saharan Africa and the southwestern Arabian Peninsula. It belongs to the Halcyon genus, which is characterized by its members' preference for woodland or savanna habitats rather than exclusively aquatic environments.
