Hartlaub's Turaco

Hartlaub's Turaco, scientifically identified as Tauraco hartlaubi, was first described by the German physician and ornithologist Gustav Hartlaub in the mid-19th century. Indigenous to the high-altitude forests of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, these birds evolved within the unique Afromontane ecosystems.
