Hume's Boobook

Hume’s Boobook, scientifically classified as Ninox obscura, was formally described by Allan Octavian Hume in the late 19th century. Primarily endemic to the Andaman Islands, this owl species exists within a geography defined by relative isolation, which facilitated its distinct evolutionary path.
