Javan Tesia

The Javan Tesia, scientifically classified as Tesia superciliaris, is a species of bird in the Cettiidae family that is endemic to the montane forests of Java, Indonesia. It belongs to a genus of small, elusive passerines characterized by their highly specialized morphology, including a distinctively rounded wing shape and a notched tail. These features have evolved as an adaptation to their environment, allowing them to navigate the dense, low-lying undergrowth of high-altitude forests where they typically forage for insects.
