Pink-footed Shearwater

The Pink-footed Shearwater, scientifically known as Ardenna creatopus, is a seabird that breeds exclusively on islands off the coast of Chile, primarily Mocha Island and the Juan Fernández archipelago. Its biological history is defined by its remarkable migratory patterns, as the species spends its non-breeding season traversing the Pacific Ocean to reach the waters off the coast of North America, ranging from Baja California to British Columbia.
