Taiwan Rosefinch

The Taiwan Rosefinch, scientifically known as Carpodacus formosanus, is a passerine bird endemic to the high-altitude mountain forests of Taiwan. Evolutionarily separated from its closest relatives on the mainland, it occupies the island's unique ecological niches, typically found at elevations between 2,000 and 3,000 meters.
