White-browed Tit

The White-browed Tit, known scientifically as Poecile superciliosus, is a passerine bird belonging to the Paridae family. It is endemic to the high-altitude coniferous forests of central and western China, particularly within the Tibetan Plateau region. It was first described in the late 19th century, reflecting the era's intensive ornithological exploration of East Asia, during which researchers sought to catalogue the diverse avian species inhabiting the remote mountainous corridors of the Himalayas and the plateau.

The species is distinguished by its distinct plumage, featuring a bold white eyebrow stripe that contrasts with its dark cap and pale underparts.
