White-winged Tanager

The White-winged Tanager, Piranga leucoptera, is a Neotropical songbird native to humid mountain forests ranging from Mexico to Bolivia. It was formally described by ornithologist George Robert Gray in 1844, becoming part of the broader tanager family, Thraupidae.
