Daniela Gullotta. Urbex

Daniela Gullotta's Urbex, published by Almach Art in 2023, serves as a photographic exploration of urban decay and abandoned structures. The collection stems from the burgeoning artistic fascination with urban exploration, documenting sites that have been reclaimed by nature or left to the passage of time. Gullotta's work seeks to capture the melancholic beauty inherent in structural dissolution, focusing on the intersection of human history and environmental entropy.

The book is designed as a visual narrative rather than a mere catalog of ruins, emphasizing texture, light, and the haunting atmosphere of derelict interiors. As a contemporary release, it reflects the modern evolution of industrial photography, where the artist aims to humanize forgotten spaces. The publication has been received as a contemplative contribution to the genre, praised for its technical precision and its ability to evoke a sense of temporal stillness within the viewer.
