Militaer und Gesellschaft in Preußen - Quellen Zur Militaersozialisation 1713-1806 : Archivalien Im Land Brandenburg - Teil I

Published in 2014 by Peter Lang, this volume by Jürgen Kloosterhuis serves as a specialized scholarly compilation focusing on military socialization within the Prussian state during the 18th century. It originated from the academic effort to catalog and analyze primary archival sources located in Brandenburg, specifically documenting the rigid structure and societal expectations that defined the Prussian military apparatus between 1713 and 1806.

The work was designed as a critical reference tool for historians, providing structured access to administrative and personal documents that reflect the indoctrination and social integration of soldiers during the era of Frederick William I and Frederick the Great. As part of a broader series on Prussian military history, it is regarded by the academic community as a rigorous archival resource intended for researchers rather than a general readership.
