Promptuarium Ecclesiasticum Medii Aevi

The Promptuarium Ecclesiasticum Medii Aevi was published in 2011 as a scholarly contribution to the field of medieval studies. Compiled by the historian Bernd-Ulrich Hergemöller, the work functions as a specialized reference volume intended to assist researchers in navigating the complex ecclesiastical records of the Middle Ages. Its creation reflects a broader academic effort to consolidate scattered historical data, providing a systematic framework for scholars working with Latin texts and administrative documents from the medieval church.

The design of the volume aligns with the rigorous standards of Peter Lang, an international publisher known for its focus on academic humanities and social sciences. By prioritizing clear indexing and accessible categorization, the book was conceived as an essential tool for institutional libraries and specialized history departments. Upon its release, it was received as a stable, technical resource for those engaged in prosopographical and archival research, reinforcing the publisher's commitment to supporting scholarly discourse through meticulously structured reference material.
