Roger Ebert's Movie Yearbook 2011

Roger Ebert's Movie Yearbook 2011 was published by Andrews McMeel in late 2010 as part of an enduring annual tradition established by the Pulitzer Prize-winning critic. These yearbooks served as a curated compilation of reviews written by Ebert throughout the previous year, providing readers with a comprehensive look at his critical assessments of major theatrical releases and hidden gems alike. The series became a touchstone for film enthusiasts who valued Ebert's conversational yet deeply insightful prose and his ability to contextualize cinema within the broader cultural landscape.

The design of the 2011 edition adhered to the series' functional, encyclopedic aesthetic, prioritizing accessibility and ease of reference for the reader. As one of the final entries published before Ebert's passing, this volume remains significant for capturing his voice during a period of transition in both his health and the evolving nature of film criticism. The yearbook was well-received by his loyal readership, who relied on these printed collections as a permanent, tactile record of his enduring influence on American movie culture.
