Another Piece Of The Puzzle

Another Piece Of The Puzzle was released in 1988 on the independent Big Cellar Recordings label. It represents a collaborative effort among a group of musicians active in the regional underground scene, featuring contributions from Big Harry Diehl, Larry Benade, Rich Gobeille, and Joe Beets & The Psyclones. The project emerged from a landscape of DIY musical experimentation, reflecting a period where independent artists sought to document their creative output through small-press cassette or vinyl distribution.

The album reflects the collaborative ethos typical of independent studio sessions during the late 1980s, prioritizing an informal, communal approach to songwriting and performance over high-fidelity commercial production. As a multifaceted project, it serves as a snapshot of the specific musical chemistry between these performers. Because the release remains a niche artifact within the broader independent scene, its design aesthetic functions primarily as a functional document of the era's local music culture rather than a widely publicized graphic work.
