Anna Kramer

This self-titled CD emerged from the vibrant independent music scene in Atlanta during the mid-2000s, where Anna Kramer was a central figure known for her garage rock and rockabilly-infused sound. Released independently without the backing of a traditional record label, the album serves as a document of her raw, energetic approach to songwriting that drew heavy influence from 1950s rock and roll and the burgeoning underground scenes of the American South.

The production style and presentation of the disc reflect the DIY ethos common among independent musicians of that era who sought to maintain total creative control over their output. By choosing to self-release the project, Kramer bypassed the industry gatekeepers, opting to distribute the music directly through live performances and local record shops. The record is widely regarded by regional music critics as a hallmark of the Atlanta rock scene, celebrated for its authentic, unvarnished delivery and Kramer's distinctive vocal grit.
