Christmas Jollies II

Christmas Jollies II was released in 2006 by Unidisc as a follow-up to the Salsoul Orchestra's original 1976 holiday album. The project was conceived to revisit the disco-infused festive sound that defined the group's early work under the direction of arranger and conductor Vincent Montana Jr. By bringing together the distinctive Philadelphia soul sound with holiday standards, the ensemble aimed to capture the dance-floor energy that had become their signature during the height of the disco era.
