Hendrik Röver Juanjo Zamorano & Los Míticos GTs

Released in 2017 on the independent label GuitarTown Recordings, this collaborative project represents a meeting of two prominent figures in the Spanish roots-rock and Americana scene. Hendrik Röver, widely recognized for his work with Los Deltonos, teamed up with Juanjo Zamorano and his ensemble, Los Míticos GTs, to produce a record that emphasizes raw, guitar-driven instrumentation. The album serves as a testament to the thriving alternative music circuit in Northern Spain, where artists frequently cross-pollinate to explore traditional blues, country, and rockabilly sounds through a contemporary lens.

The production philosophy behind the album was to capture the energy of a live, unvarnished performance. Designed to highlight the synergy between the musicians rather than rely on heavy studio processing, the record features arrangements that prioritize rhythmic interplay and melodic grit. It was received by fans of the genre as an authentic continuation of Röver’s long-standing dedication to high-quality roots music, further solidifying the GuitarTown Recordings catalog as a hub for musicians committed to preserving the integrity of American-inspired rock forms in a European context.
